art4empowerment Program
Sample Workshops
In fall 2004, we launched ''Art for Empowerment'' program to use the transformational power of visual expression to empower our clients. Visual expression is particularly beneficial to those survivors who are not comfortable with talk therapy. The creative process is a means for women to explore their situations and reconnect with those emotions that they have shut off to survive abuse. We offer art workshops every other week.
